이 연구는 승마운동이 기승자의 총콜레스테롤과 아디포넥틴에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것을 목적에 둔다. 이를 위해 승마경험이 없는 30대 성인남성 18명에게 평보, 속보, 구보의 승마운동을 1일 50분, 주 3회, 12주간 실시하였다. 승마운동의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 Y병원에 의뢰하여 연구대상자의 혈액을 채취하였다. 채취된 혈액을 원심분리를 실시하여 총콜레스테롤과 아디포넥틴을 확인하였고, 각 변인은 이원변량 반복측정분산분석을 하였다. 연구결과로 승마운동은 총콜레스테롤은 감소하는 추세를 보였으나, 유의하지 않았다. 그리고 승마운동은 아디포넥틴은 증가하는 추세였으나 유의하지 않았다. 따라서 승마운동을 통하여 건강 증진에 효과적이나, 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of horseback riding exercise on total cholesterol and adiponectin in riders. To this end, 18 adult men in their 30s who had no horseback riding experience were subjected to horseback riding exercises of Pyeongbo, Breaking News, and Kubo for 50 minutes a day, 3 times a week, for 12 weeks. To verify the effect of horseback riding exercise, blood was collected and analyzed for total cholesterol and adiponectin. As a result of the study, riding exercise showed a tendency to decrease total cholesterol, but it was not significant. In the horseback riding exercise, adiponectin tended to increase, but it was not significant. Therefore, it is effective to improve health through horseback riding, but additional research is needed.
