동기강화 집단미술치료가 지적장애인의 자기효능감과 직업적응능력에 미치는 효과

초록

본 연구는 동기강화상담 이론에 근거해 직업유지에 어려움이 있는 지적장애인에게 동기강화 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시함으로써, 집단미술치료가 지적장애인의 직업적응능력과 자기효능감을 향상시키는데 효과가 있음을 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구자는 A시에 소재하고 있는 사회적 협동조합에서 직업 훈련을 받고 있는 8명의 지적장애인에게 2019년 3월 8일부터 2019년 5월 3일까지 주 2회 70분간 총 16회기의 동기강화 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 동기강화 집단미술치료의 효과검증을 위해 Bolton과 Roessler(1986) 직업인성프로파일척도(WPP)와 Goh(2008)이 정신장애인을 대상으로 재구성한 일반적 자기효능감척도(GSES-ID), Payne와 Johoda(2004)가 개발한 사회적 자기효능감척도(GSSES-ID)를 사용하여 프로그램 사전사후 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석을 실시하였고, 비모수 통계 검증 방법을 사용하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 동기강화 집단미술치료가 사회적 협동조합에서 직업 훈련을 받고 있는 지적장애인의 일반적 자기효능감과 사회적 자기효능감을 향상시키는데 효과적이며 직업적응능력에 긍정적인 효과가 있다는 것을 연구결과로 알 수 있었다.

Abstract

Based on the theory of motivation strengthening counseling, this study was intended to verify that group art therapy is effective in improving vocational adaptability and self-efficacy of intellectually disabled people by implementing a motivational strengthening group art therapy program for those with difficulty maintaining their jobs. The researcher conducted a group art therapy program of 16 sessions in total for 70 minutes twice a week from March 8, 2019 to May 3, 2019 for eight people with intellectual disabilities who are undergoing vocational training at a social cooperative based in A. In order to verify the effectiveness of the motivation strengthening group art therapy, Bolton and Roessler (1986) Work Personality Profile (WPP) scale, the General Self-efficacy Scale-ID version (GSES-ID) reconstructed by Good (2008) for the mentally disabled, and the Glasgow Social Self-efficacy Scale-ID version (GSSES-ID) developed by Payne and Johoda (2004) was used after. The data collected in this study were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program and a nonparametric statistical verification method was used. Thus, this study showed that motivational strengthening group art therapy has a positive effect on the vocational adaptability and self-efficiency of the intellectually disabled who are undergoing vocational training in social cooperatives.
