대구경북첨단의료복합단지의 발전요인 분석에 대한 연구 : 혁신클러스터 관점을 중심으로
A Study on the Analysis of Development Factors of the Daegu-Kyungpook Advanced Medical Complex: Focusing on Innovation Cluster Perspective

본 연구에서는 대표적 의료산업 클러스터인 대구경북첨단의료복합단지 중개기관인 대구경북첨단의료산업진흥재단 구성원 인식조사를 통해 대구경북첨단의료복합단지의 주요 발전요인의 실태를 분석하고, 발전방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과에 따르면, 클러스터의 입지 등 환경적인 측면은 크게 개선되지 않고 있으며, 지역 의료산업, 지식창출기관, 선도기업, 인력‧기술 이동 등 혁신활동을 강화하는데 필요한 요소는 아직 충분히 충족되지는 않은 것으로 인식되고 있다. 이에 따라 재단 구성원들은 향후 단지의 발전을 위해 필요한 요소로서 ‘단지육성계획 및 비전의 방향성’, ‘인적자원역량’, ‘지역의료산업육성 및 우수인재 유치정책’ 등을 우선적으로 선택하고 있다. 따라서 우수인재유치를 위한 인력순환, 단지의 사업화 성과를 위한 전문 인력 유치, 지역대학과의 네트워크 강화, 정부의 육성계획과 연계되어 있는 재단 자립화의 시기와 분야별 특성 고려 등의 정책 추진이 필요해 보인다.
Abstract
In this study, we tried to analyze the actual condition of the main development factors of the Daegu Advanced Medical Complex and suggest the development direction through a perception survey of members of the ‘KMEDI hub’, which is an intermediary institution of the Daegu Advanced Medical Complex, a representative medical industry cluster. According to the research, environmental aspects, such as the location of clusters, have not improved significantly, and the elements necessary to strengthen innovation activities, such as the local medical industry, knowledge creation institutions, leading companies, and human resource/technology transfer, have not yet been sufficiently met. Accordingly, the foundation members preferentially select 'complex development plan and direction of vision', 'human resource capability', and 'regional medical industry development and policy to attract excellent talent' as elements necessary for the development of the complex in the future. Therefore, it seems necessary to implement policies such as manpower circulation for attracting excellent talent, attracting professional manpower for commercialization, strengthening network with local universities, and promoting self-sufficiency of foundations considering the characteristics of time and field.
