김수영 시에 나타나는 타자의 ‘시선’과 ‘자유’의 의미 ―사르트르와의 상관성을 중심으로
The Meaning of the Other's Gaze and Freedom Described in Kim Su Young's Poems - Focused on his interrelationship with J. P. Sartre -

This thesis takes note of the interrelationship between Kim Su Young and Sartre bearing in mine the fact that the time of Sartre's Existentialism being introduced to, being in vague in Korea and the time of Kim Su Young's activity of composing poems are almost coincided, and the guess that such simultaneity must have formed an internal intimateness between the two people. Especially, in this thesis, the Other in Kim Su Young's poems, in other word, the feeling of the Others' ‘Gaze', or ‘Shame' will be looked into in the manner of relating them to Sartre's thought. The meaning of change in the recognition of the Other appearing in Kim Su Young's early and later poems will be identified from the view of ‘Freedom’. Then, the concepts of the Other's Gaze, Shame, fighting among Gazes, and Freedom, the core of Sartre's thought are quoted. This thesis will ultimately reveal how Kim Su Young perceived reality and how he responded to historical reality through ‘Love’ in later year of his composing of poems by analyzing the characteristics of the recognition on the Other and the meaning of freedom that presented in Kim Su Young's poems.
