초록
Here we describe indigenous prokaryotic species in Korea, a total of 47 bacterial strains were isolated from freshwater and soil from the Republic of Korea. From the high 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity (>98.7%) and formation of a robust phylogenetic clade with the closest species, it was determined that each strain belonged to predefined bacterial species. There is no official report that these 47 species belonged to 4 phyla, 8 classes, 20 orders, 27 families, and 38 genera, which were assigned to Sediminibacterium and Flavobacterium of the phylum Bacteroidota; Streptomyces, Solirubrobacter, Nonomuraea, Nocardioides, Nocardia, Mycobacterium, Micromonospora, Micrococcus, Microbacterium, Catellatospora, and Arthrobacter of the phylum Actinomycetota; Vogesella, Tabrizicola, Stenotrophomonas, Sphingorhabdus, Sphingomonas, Sphingobium, Pseudomonas, Piscinibacter, Phenylobacterium, Novosphingobium, Noviherbaspirillum, Neotabrizicola, Microvirga, Mesorhizobium, Lysobacter, Ideonella, Hydrogenophaga, Enterobacter, and Chakrabartia of the phylum Pseudomonadota; Trichococcus, Paenibacillus, Neobacillus, Jeotgalibacillus, Chryseomicrobium, and Bacillus of the phylum Bacillota. Gram-staining results, colony and cell morphologies, basic biochemical characteristics, isolation sources, and strain IDs are also described in the species description section.
