초록
Here we describe indigenous prokaryotic species in Korea, a total of 56 bacterial strains were isolated from freshwater and soil from the Republic of Korea. From the high 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity (>98.7%) and formation of a robust phylogenetic clade with the closest species, it was determined that each strain belonged to predefined bacterial species. There is no official report that these 56 species belonged to 4 phyla, 8 classes, 18 orders, 26 families, and 36 genera, which were assigned to Pedobacter, Dyadobacter, and Chryseobacterium of the phylum Bacteroidota; Aeromicrobium, Cryobacterium, Isoptericola, Kitasatospora, Leifsonia, Microbacterium, Nonomuraea, and Streptomyces of the phylum Actinomycetota; Acinetobacter, Bradyrhizobium, Caballeronia, Chenggangzhangella, Chitinilyticum, Klebsiella, Lysobacter, Massilia, Mesorhizobium, Microvirga, Oxalicibacterium, Pantoea, Paraburkholderia, Phenylobacterium, Polaromonas, Pseudoxanthomonas, Sphingomonas, Tahibacter, and Undibacterium of the phylum Pseudomonadota; Bacillus, Paenibacillus, Lysinibacillus, Ureibacillus, and Virgibacillus of the phylum Bacillota. Gram-staining results, colony and cell morphologies, basic biochemical characteristics, isolation sources, and strain IDs are also described in the species description section.
