영아 어머니 우울의 예측 변인 분석: 어머니의 부모됨 및양육 관련 체계 변인을 중심으로 · 고신대학교 · 광주대학교

초록

본 연구는 영아 어머니 우울을 예측하는 양육 관련 변인들을 파악하는데 목적을 두고, 양육관련 변인들을 어머니의 부모됨 변인, 아동 특성․가구 및 가족내 특성․가족외 특성을 포함한 양육 관련 체계 변인으로 범주화하고 이 변인들의 예측 가능성을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 1차년도 조사시점에서의 우울 점수 분포에서 상․하 30%에 해당하는 영아 어머니1161명의 우울, 부모됨 및 양육 환경 체계 변인 측정치들로써 상관관계분석, 차이검증, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 어머니의 우울은 부모됨 변인 중 양육지식, 양육실제와 정적 상관관계를, 양육스트레스와는부적 상관관계를 보였으며, 양육 관련 체계 변인 중 기질의 정서성과는 정적 상관관계를, 기질의 활동성․월평균가구소득과 아버지의 양육참여도․사회적 지원과는 부적 상관관계를 보였고 육아지원서비스 이용여부는 무관한 것으로 나타났다. 우울을 유의하게 예측하는 주요 변인은 부모됨 변인, 특히 양육스트레스와 양육지식이며, 영아의 기질, 사교적인 사회지원이 예측력을 추가하였다. 이에 영아 어머니의 우울 위험요인과 보호․예방요인에 관한 정보를 제공할수 있었다.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the maternity and childrearing variables influence changes in postpartum depression of Korean mothers. This study included 1161 mothers who were both lower and higher groups belong to 30% extremes of the depression score distribution in the first year measuring time from the population-based study of 2008 PSKC by Korea Institute of Childcare and Education. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, correlation coefficient analysis and logistic regression. The results summarized as follows: First, mothers' postpartum depression had positive relations with childrearing knowledge and practice, and negative relation with childrearing stress among maternity variables. The depression showed a negative relationship with child's emotionality, but also showed positive relationships with child's activity, house income, father's childrearing participation and social support from the childrearing system variables. Second, the meaningfully effecting variables on the depression were mother's childrearing stress and knowledge, child's temperament and social support. Results suggest that it is urgent to make an effort to develop the parental education program or plan the mother-child health service in consideration of the effecting variables for preventing the mother's postpartum depression.
