The digital cloud platform can provide a wide range of learning resources, and while broadening students' knowledge field, it can achieve real-time teacher-student interaction and feedback, resource sharing and cooperation, seamless global education interconnection and many other functions, which greatly activate the atmosphere of art professional classroom in colleges and universities, and promote the generalisation and development of art education. This paper analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the cloud platform on the practical application of art teaching in colleges and universities, with the intention of exploring the new path of combining the cloud platform of art classroom and artificial intelligence to assist teaching and learning, and expects to provide reference ideas for the digital transformation and development of art teaching in colleges and universities in China, to "build up the momentum and empower" for the high-quality development of higher education talents, and to boost the construction and development of digital China.
