Abstract
This paper discusses in detail the specific applications and potential of blockchain technology in the management and conservation of ancient Chinese cultural relics. The paper begins with a detailed discussion and analysis of the fundamentals and potential applications of blockchain technology in cultural heritage conservation, taking into account the unique and precious value and conservation needs of ancient Chinese cultural relics. It identifies and highlights the current challenges of adopting blockchain technology to improve the transparency, traceability, and security of cultural heritage management, as well as the broad prospects of blockchain technology in the future. In addition to proposing a blockchain-based mechanism for recording and authenticating cultural heritage, this study advocates for advancing heritage conservation by facilitating community participation and effectively addressing technical and legal issues. Finally, the potential long-term impact of these applications on heritage conservation and sustainability is explored in depth, laying the groundwork for future related research.
