6·25전쟁 초기 조선족 부대의 작전수행 연구 - 선제타격계획과 포위전을 중심으로 -

Abstract

Korean war which was triggered by Kim Ilsung, was manipulated by Stalin supported by Korean Chinese as well as Chinese unit led by Mao. Korean Chinese unit which was transferred to North Korea by China was well trained and experienced throughout the second internal communism warfare. As a matter of fact, since the transferring o f this unit, military balance has been inclined to North Korea However,no paper has been released concerning this issue in Korean war.Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the military operation of Korean Chinese unit, specifically on a siege warfare in the initial phase of Korean War. There are four special features of the initial striking tasks of Korean Chinese unit in view of operational level. Firstly,North Korea decentralized this unit which was well experienced throughout participating various warfare. Second,Korean Chinese unit faced to different operational environment when they executed offensive operation in the initial phase of Korean Wa rs ince Korean unit executed defensive operation which has no space for infiltration. Third, the task of this unit has no relevancy to the m oment of their transferring to North Korea. Lastly, this unit took various missions from each North Korean army corps. In terms of the battle of encirclement led by North Korea ,Seoul encirclement battle can be analyzed as the concept of "breakthrough operation first and encirclement later". According to this concept,North Korea firstly intended to breakthrough our defenseline to annihilate South Korea n army and lateron tried to cut off the path of retreat. Daejun encirclement battle was the exact case applying this concept to annihilate US army. The Korean Chinese unit was familiar with Daejun rather than Seoul in terms of operational environment since they executed various operations in China.They demonstrated thei rcombat experiences, such as detour, infiltration, interception, ambush in Daejun encirclement battle.
