중국 소수민족 사회의 변화에 대한다층적 해석 - 雲南省 石林彝族을 중심으로

중국의 소수민족은 다양한 변화에 직면해 있다. 내적으로는 가치관과 정체성의 변화를 겪고 있고, 외적으로는 민족의 통합이라는 변화에 직면해 있다. 이것을 미시적으로보면 漢族과의 관계에서 한족 문화로의 변화 즉 漢化 또는 한족문화로의 同化로 볼 수도있고, 거시적으로 보면 중국이 겪는 현대화와 도시화로의 변화로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서 주목하는 것은 변화와 변화 동인에 대한 다층적 해석이다. 기존까지 소수민족 사회 변화에 대한 연구는 구조적 혹은 실존적 측면에서 접근하거나, 혹은 그 변화의 저의에 대한 분석이었다. 그런데 본고에서는 기존의 방식을 통합하면서, 의도와 우연을 종합하여 소수민족 사회의 변화를 설명하려 하였다. 즉 시도는 조작적이고 의도적으로 출발되었지만 그것이 시련되는 과정까지 세렌디피티를 배제할 수 없다는 점이다. 중국 소수민족 사회의 변화를 살펴보면 중화인민공화국이 건국되고 난 뒤, 소수민족통제와 통제의 목표에 대한 것은 의도적이고 계획적이며 조작적이었다. 중국은 소수민족의 민족융합을 자원적 과정을 통해 이루려 했다. 그리고 그것이 통계와 답사를 통해 확인한 결과 점차 실행되고 있다. 그런데 이것이 오늘날 石林彝族自治縣에서 관찰되는 것처럼 정체성 변화의 모습을 갖게 되기까지에는 다양한 요소가 가미되었다고 판단했다. 그리고 여기에는 구조적 실존적 문제와 맞물려 우연적 요소가 가미되었다는 것이다. 결론적으로 운남 석림이족 사회는 변화했고, 변화하고 있다. 변화 동인은 구조적으로나 실존적으로나 더욱 거세게 변화를 이끌고 있다. 우연적 요소는 이들에게만 해당하는것이 아니라 전통과 현대의 갈등을 겪고 있는 다른 지역과 국가에게도 해당한다. 우연적요소는 소수민족 사회의 변화를 거세게 요구하며 한족과 소수민족의 대립구도를 전통과현대의 구도로 바꾸어 놓았다. 그리고 이러한 동인들은 민족 융합을 자연스럽게 완성하고 있다.
Abstract
China's ethnic minorities has been facing with many changes, This changes can be analyzed microscopically sinicization(漢化), sinicizing non-Han people or assimilation with Chinese nation and macroscopically the shift to transformation in the wake of rapid modernization and urbanization of China. What this research notes on is Multi-layered interpretations on changes and change motives of China's ethnic minorities. The earlier studies on changes of China's ethnic minorities were concentrated on approach from structural or existent aspects otherwise analysis on the definition of changes. However, integrating the existing way of research, this paper try to describe the changes of China's ethnic minorities by way of overlapping intentions and coincidence. It means the changes of China's ethnic minorities can be explained by serendipity, because the changes starts from intentions but are realized from coincidence. Since the foundation of the People's Republic of China, the first policy of China's ethnic minorities governing is of calculation and operation. China has made efforts to realize Ethnic Minorities unification by process of voluntarism and statistics and field work shows china's policy has succeeded till now. But until the changes of identity occur shown on yizu in Shilin YiZu zizhixian, yunnansheng.(云南石林彝族自治县), this paper is based on the reason there are various factors, especially existent and structural along with coincident, added in the success of china's policy. The society of yizu in Shilin YiZu zizhixian, yunnansheng. changed and has been changed on. The motive and agent of changes has been speeded up harder existentially and structurally. The matter of Luck factor is not only to those of yizu (彝族) but a l so a l l of nations and ethnics who suffers from conflict between modern and tradition. Incidental factors cause severe change on the society of China's ethnic minorities and change the ethnical confrontation frame between Chinese and China ethnic minorities into another confrontation frame between modern and tradition. As making an outer enemy is best way to defend against an inner enemy attack, China's ethnic minorities unification by voluntarism is now proceeding well away.
