초록
Pastoral Counseling has been differentiated from pastoral care by the influence of modern psychology, as an academic field. Pastoral Counseling has often been referred as a dual relationship counseling between a counselor and a client. However, Pastoral Counseling has recently added the church community as another subject making it a trial relationship counseling. Taking note of the fact that there has not been enough research done on the requirements and role of this subject yet, the author has discussed this and named the third party of pastoral counseling including the church community the third person(s). The third person(s), another subject of pastoral counseling, can be understood in terms of relational theology. Relational theology, focusing on the relationship, has been discussed as the dual relationship of I-You, like Marin Buber or the trial relationship of I-You-S(he) through perichoresis, a terminology that describes the relationship of the triune God. A model for relationship counseling of pastoral counseling could be find in a relationship of the triune God. Based on these discussions, the author suggests the requirements of the third person(s): personality, referenciation and accessibility based on Paul Ricoeur' hermeneutics. In addition, he proposes the role of the third person(s): "accepting one anther," "carrying each other's burdens," "adding to your something," and "growing up in one's salvation." We must keep in mind that the role of the third person(s) should not be only limited to the role of the third person(s), but also the role of both a counselor and a client, based on the discussion of relational theology.
