본 연구는 한국 정부가 제공하는 재정지원이 기업의 협력네트워크 구성과 기술혁신 성과에어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지를 밝히는데 있다. 협력네트워크 형성에 있어 파트너타입의 구성을 어떻게 하는 것이 기업의 기술혁신 성과에 효과적인지, 이러한 협력네트워크 구성에 있어 한국의 기술혁신 정책은 어떻게 작용해왔는지를 분석해 정책적 함의를 제공하고 조직이론에서 최근 연구 흐름인 네트워크 구성(alliance portfolio) 연구 흐름을 반영하고자 하였다. 한국 전체 제조업에 대해 대표성 있는 데이터, 2005년 기술혁신조사를 사용해 로짓분석, 다항 로짓분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과들을 종합해보면, 한국의 기술혁신 정책은 기업과 공공부문의 협력네트워크 형성을 특히 강조해왔지만 기업으로 하여금 특히 혁신성이 높은 혁신도입에 성공하도록 유인하려면 고객/수요기업과의 협력네트워크 형성을 보다 강조할 필요성이 있음이 드러났다.
Abstract
This study reveals the effects of the government’s financial support on companies’ alliance portfolio and their innovation output. Alliance portfolio is about which partner type a firm cooperate with doing its innovation activities and thus which type of external resources the company gets enable to access to. Using the detailed information on firms’ characteristics and innovative activities in the 2005 Korea Innovation Survey(KIS), which provides a large sample of observations, it conducted logistic regression and multiple logistic regression analyses in order to examine the affects. The main findings are as follows. The Korean government has put a strong focus on promoting the cooperation between the public and private as it goes forward with its innovation policies. The results, however, show that the cooperation with clients/customers is the most crucial for producers to introduce high-novelty innovation into the market. This underlines the importance of putting more focus on promoting the cooperation between producers and their clients/customers in order to level up the novelty of the national innovation system.
