초록
This study claims to explore the process of internalization and externalization of dominant norms (anti-communism and liberal nationalism) in pre- and post- Cold War periods. It demonstrates how South Korean political actors play a role in diffusing dominant norms within the context of different international orders, state capability, and political systems in pre- and post- Cold War era. The paper attempts to compare processes of outside-in and inside-out norm diffusions within different historical contexts in the Republic of Korea. This paper contributes to demonstrate norm competition between anti-communism and liberal nationalism in the ROK by analyzing Perry and Armitage reports in the Kim Daejung administration.
