이 글은 미셸 앙리의 현상학과 프로이트 정신분석의 관계를 해명하는 데 역점을 둔다. 이 관계는 ‘계보’의 의미로 설명될 수 있을 것이다. 그 둘 사이에 존재하는 ‘사유의 연속성’을 앙리는 무의식의 독해와 비판을 통해 밝혀낸다. 머리말을 잇는 첫 번째 장에서 나는 프로이트가 어떤 점에서 “뒤늦게 온 계승자”로 얘기될 수 있는지를 규명하고자 했다. 그 다음 장에서는 현상학의 관점에서 무의식이 어떻게 읽히고 비판될 수 있는지를 논했다. 이 장에서 나는 무의식 이해에 중요한 충동 개념과 억압 개념의 이해로부터 무의식 개념을 현상학적으로 밝혀내고자 했다. 마지막 장에서 무의식에 대한 앙리의 주요한 주장, “무의식은 없다” 또는 “무의식은 삶의 이름이다”가 어떻게 해명되는지를 논했다. 이 전체적인 논의를 통해 나는 앙리의 무의식 독해와 비판이 갖는 의의를 가늠해 보고자 했다.
Abstract
This article focuses on explaining the relationship between Michele Henry 's phenomenology and Freud' s psychoanalysis. This relationship can be explained in the sense of 'genealogy'. Henry reveals the "continuity of thought" between the two through reading and criticism of the unconscious. In the first section, I tried to identify what Freud could be described as "a late successor". The next section discusses how the unconscious can be read and criticized in terms of phenomenology. In this section, I sought to reveal phenomenologically the concept of unconscious from the concept of instinct and the concept of repression, which are important for understanding the unconscious. In the last section, Henry's main claim to the unconscious, "the unconscious does not exist" or "the unconscious is the Name of Life" was discussed. Through this whole inquiry I would like to measure the significance of Henry's reading and criticism of the unconscious.
