사회적 지지가 이주배경 청소년의 사회 적응력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구는 사회통합적 관점에서 이주배경청소년의 사회적응력을 고양시킬 수 있는 정책 과제를 제언하기 위하여 사회적 지지가 이주배경청소년의 사회적응력에 미치는 영향 관계를 실증·분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 이론적 고찰과 선행연구를 분석함으로써 실증적 연구를 위한 분석모형을 설계하고, 연구가설과 관련 변수를 도출하였다. 설문지의 배포 및 수집은 이주배경청소년이 집중되어 있는 서울·경기 지역을 중심으로 이주배경청소년을 위한 대안학교와 관련 교육기관 등에 협조를 구하여 260명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 첫째, 부모(보호자)나 형제·자매의 지지가 가족 간의 건전하고 부드러운 관계 유지에 도움을 주며, 가족의 물질적, 평가적 지지가 가족적응력에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 친구와 교사, 지역사회 멘토의 정서적 지지와 평가적 지지가 대인적응력에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 정서적응력은 가족과 친구의 평가적 지지의 영향을 많이 받는다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 가정의 역량 강화를 위한 부모 교육 및 취업 교육 강화, 지역사회에서 활동하는 실무자들을 위한 표준화된 지도 매뉴얼 및 상담 가이드라인 마련, 이중언어 구사가 가능한 전문상담사 양성 및 배치를 통해 적절한 상담과 지지 제공 등을 시사점으로 제시하였다.
Abstract
In order to suggest the institutional task boosting the social adaptation ability of youths with immigrant backgrounds in the aspect of social integration, this study aimed to empirically analyze the influence of social support on the social adaptation ability of youths with immigrant backgrounds. By conducting theoretical consideration and analyzing preceding researches, an analysis model for the empirical study was designed, and also research hypotheses and relevant variables were drawn. After requesting cooperation to alternative school and relevant education institutes for youths with immigrant backgrounds, self-administered questionnaires were distributed to total 260 of them in Seoul and Gyeonggi region where youths with immigrant backgrounds are concentrated. Based on 250 questionnaires, the theoretical suggestions and institutional implications were drawn by using frequency analysis, factor analysis, independent sample t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The significance of this study is to empirically analyze the influence of social support on the social adaptation ability of youths with immigrant backgrounds in the aspect of social integration, and also to suggest the institutional task for boosting the social adaptation ability of youths with immigrant backgrounds.
