본 논문은 2006년 이후 공정위원회에 의해 담합으로 적발된 LPG, 설탕, 경질유, 음료시장에서 가격움직임을 분석했다. LPG 시장을 제외한 여타 시장에서담합붕괴 이후 가격하락이 관찰되고 있지 않고 오히려 가격상승이 나타났다. LPG시장의 경우는 담합붕괴 이후 가격하락의 모습을 보였으나, 비용을 감안한회귀분석결과 통계적 유의한 정도는 아니었다. 비용과 가격간의 민감도를 분석한 결과 등유, 휘발유 시장에서는 민감도가 변화하지 않은 것으로 나타났으나,경유, 설탕, 주스, LPG 시장에서 통계적으로 유의한 변화가 관찰됐다.
Abstract
This paper examines price movements and pricing behavior over time around the collapse of collusion conspiracies in gasoline, diesel, kerosene, LPG,juice and sugar industries, which were detected and punished by the Korea Fair Trade Commission. After the collapse of collusion the price did not fall in most of the industries. The pricing behavior has changed except gasoline and kerosene industries. The changed behavior varies with industries. The price turns out to be less sensitive to cost changes in diesel, sugar and LPG industries, while the price tends to be more sensitive to cost change in juice industries after the collapse of collusion.
