This study was done to investigate the effects of parenting attitude on learning attitude in middle school student of South Korea. For this purpose, this study uses a sample from Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2010 data (National Youth Policy Institute: NYPI). One-way ANOVA and structural equation modeling results show that parenting groups: low, medium and in all areas except for the expected excess was statistically significant, and through structural equation modeling analysis is determined as statistically significant paths are as follows: parents' affection → parental supervision, parents' affection →intrusiveness, parents' affection → excessive expectations, parents' affection → reasonable explanation, parental supervision → intrusiveness, parental supervision → excessive expectations, parental supervision → learning attitude, intrusiveness →learning attitude. However, parents affection → learning attitude', reasonable explanation → learning attitude paths was not significant statistically.
