Phallus is most essential word in the theory of J. Lacan who is a Philosopher of France. It makes a great contribution towards analyzing human desire on the basis of structuralism. Human desire originate in the structure out of the human, and It wavered in appearance and movement of Phallus as the special signifiant.. This treatise try to analyze women’s desire and psychology described on the Su Tong’s「妻妾成群(wife and concubines)」and Zhang Yi Mou’s film 「大红灯笼高高挂(Raise the Red Lantern)」. Chen Zuo Qian in the 「妻妾成群(wife and concubines)」, ‘red lanterns’ and ‘food massage’ in the 「大红灯笼高高挂(Raise the Red Lantern)」 can be considered as the Phallus. Women blow off their desire according to the movement of phallus and struggle politically to hold the power.
