This study aims to examine the potential of CL to address the issue of bullying and discover methods to prevent bullying. A qualitative study was conducted by observing a class of 24 5-year-old children in a kindergarten located in the metropolitan area. Two of the participants were Chinese and Japanese, and there was a discriminatory view towards them. The results of the study are as follows. First, children began to overcome stereotypes of certain races. Second, the children learned to understand how someone might feel in a bullying situation. Third, through CL, children were able to participate in a social action that can make the world a better place. As seen in this study, integrating CL practices to address bullying showed that bullying may be effectively prevented in kindergarten
