The purpose of this paper is to analyse trade structure of intermediate goods and industrial linkage effects between Korea and China. In particular, this study focuses on the production inducement coefficients and the ratio of the intermediate inputs, using the world input-output tables(2006, 20111). In terms of the analysis of the trend of trade between two countries, Korean economy was more dependent on intermediate goods exports to China during the period 2006-2011. The empirical results show that the industrial sectors in which the Korean economy had relatively high production inducement coefficients, were electrical and optical equipment, textiles and textile products and machinery. From the analysis, we can derive some implications. First, Korean should increase more final goods export volume to China, considering 83.7%, the ratio of intermediate goods exports to China in 2011. Second, two country should enhance their competitiveness in the industrial sectors of having high industrial linkage effects.
