2035 미래교육 시나리오: 초,중등교육을 중심으로

Abstract

This study developed future education scenarios to ask and answer questions about what future education we want to look like and what changes are required in the direction we are going. We have developed ' predicted ' and ' desired ' scenarios and additionally developed ' pessimistic ' scenarios, which are directly opposite to ' desired ' scenarios. Scenario method was used as a method of study. Scenario development was based on the basic principles of BASICS, such as variable candidates extraction through data analysis, variables extraction and scenarios elicitation through expert investigations. General form of future education that all scenarios share incorporates the followings : flexible lifelong learning system, enhanced municipal authority, competence-driven training, school as center of integrated service, individualized education, individual evaluation of learning history, teachers with enhanced mentoring capabilities, school as a transformer-smart learning space, education system with regional networks. According to the combination of the variations 1) predicted scenario: “3 Families under one roof”, 2) desired scenario: “Every one is a hero”, 3) pessimistic scenario: “Zero Sum Game” were derived. To make the desired scenario be the feasible future, marketization of education should be prevented and political efforts to make education quasi-public are required. Also, future education’s principle, purpose, format and financial investments should be guided to become public, equal, network forming and expanding in lieu of obtaining marketizing, emphasizing supremacy, clustering and reducing in finances.
