미래교육 관련 연구 메타분석을 통한 미래교육의 방향

본 연구는 최근 몇 년 동안 수행된 미래교육관련 연구보고서들을 대상으로 미래교육의 목표 및 방향에 대한 주요내용을 메타분석적 접근으로 분석하였다. 분석 대상 미래교육관련 연구보고서들은 지난 2013년부터 2018년까지 국책연구기관을 중심으로 수행된 총 11개의 미래교육관련 연구보고서들이며, 보고서 내용을 중심으로 미래교육의 비전 및목표, 미래교육의 인재상, 미래교육의 교육과정, 교수학습, 교육평가, 그리고 교육정책 및 전략의 총 5가지 영역에서주요 내용을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미래교육연구에서는 주로 교육 현안에 대한 해결 및 새로운사회구조와 환경 변화에 대처하기 위한 단기적이고 다소 제한적인 측면의 교육비전 및 목표를 제시하고 있었다. 둘째, 미래교육의 인재상으로는 제4차 산업혁명 시대를 대비하기 위한 창의성과 문제해결력과 같은 역량을 갖춘인재뿐 아니라 인성, 감성, 소통과 공감 능력을 지닌 전인적 인재상을 추구하고 있었다. 셋째, 인구구조 변화와 제4차산업혁명 시대를 대응하기 위한 개별화 및 학습자 맞춤형의 교육과정 및 교수학습과 평가, 그리고 첨단 과학기술기반의교육환경 구축을 강조하고 있었다. 넷째, 미래교육의 주요 정책은 교육에 대한 현안 해결을 통하여 공교육에 대한신뢰 회복 목적의 정책들이 제안되었다. 결론적으로 시대에 필요한 사회인의 양성이라는 교육의 기능적 역할뿐 아니라교육이 우리 사회문화의 가치를 세우는 철학적 바탕이 된다는 역할을 상기하여, 교육의 본질과 기본 이념에 충실한거시적이고 장기적인 미래교육 비전 및 방향을 수립할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The study was to analyze the research reports regarding to the future education, which were conducted by the major national research institutes in Korea for the past several years with meta-analysis approach. The 11 reports analyzed were published from 2013 to 2018 by the major national research institutes in Korea and the contents of the reports were analyzed in terms of the five domains such as the vision and goals of future education, the talented students, the curriculum, the instructional strategies, and assessment in future education. The results are as follows. First, the vision and goals of future education are focusing on the current educational issues and problems rather than the perspectives of long terms goals and philosophical foundation of education. Second, the talented students are supposed to have not only the capabilities of creativity and problem-solving ability but also the upright character, human emotion, sympathy, and communication skills for preparing for the future society. Third, the policies and strategies in future education were emphasized on the differentiated and customized curriculum, instruction and assessment as well as the technology-based educational system. Fourth, the focus of educational policy in future education was to recover the trust for the public educational system by solving the current problems in education. To conclude, the important roles of education are not only to foster the citizen who leads to the future but also to establish the value system of our society so the inclusive and long-term vision and goals of future education should be launched based on the fundamental ideology and essence of education.
