Abstract
· Research Subject: This study aims to analyze trends in art therapy research using text mining techniques. Through this, we will systematically examine the main topics, research methodologies, and changes in research subjects covered in art therapy. · Research Background: Art therapy plays an important role in individual psychological healing, and its effect has been proven through several studies. However, studies that systematically analyzed the trends of art therapy research are insufficient, and analysis using text mining was not active. Accordingly, it was raised necessary to systematically analyze the development process of art therapy research. · Difference from previous studies: Existing research has focused on proving the effectiveness of art therapy centering on specific topics or cases, and there are few cases that systematically analyze research trends. This study is differentiated in that it is the first attempt to objectively and comprehensively analyze art therapy research by introducing text mining techniques. · Research method: Papers related to art therapy published from 2020 to 2023 were analyzed using text mining techniques. The analysis techniques used are keyword analysis, topic modeling, and word-to-beck. · Research Results: This study analyzed the trends of papers related to art therapy using text mining techniques. As a result of deriving the importance of major keywords from 2020 to 2023 through TF-IDF analysis, it was confirmed that keywords such as children, change, stress, and psychology were treated as important topics in art therapy research. In particular, studies related to psychological and emotional changes and stress in children and adolescents were remarkable, and studies on experimental approaches and expression methods were actively conducted. In addition, through the LDA topic modeling analysis, it was confirmed that Corona, interpersonal stress, school life, and psychological difficulties of adolescents were classified as major research topics. In the similarity analysis using the Word2Vec technique, the interaction of words related to stress, children, and women was identified, suggesting that art therapy is playing an important role in individual psychological recovery and social relations improvement. · Contributions and expected effects: This study has a great academic contribution in that it used the text mining technique for the first time in art therapy research, and objectively presented the flow of the research field. This will be used as important data for setting future research directions and practical application.
