Abstract
Dosan陶山, located in the east of Andong City, Gyeongbuko Province, was known after Yi Whanng李滉 (1501-1570). Dosan is largely related to the origin of Dosan-myeon today. Dosangi was written by Yi Hwang and was led by Yi Hwang's descendants to form the foundation of three mountain anthology: Dosanji陶山志, Cheongnyangji淸凉志, and Yongsanji龍山志, which were expanded. Although Dosan-gi is not out of the seven major valleys, the supplementation of Dosan-gugok, which starts from the west of Dosan to the east of Cheongnyang Mountain from the Nakdonggang River, was found in Dosan-gugok, which was published in Yi Yi-sun's works. Andong City, where Dosan-myeon is located, is located in upper reaches of the Nakdong River and is an important route to the Namhan River basin beyond the Sobaek Mountain Range. During the heyday of Silla and Goryeo, the status of the region was generally lower than that of Sangju, but after King Gong Min's moving to Andong, he developed into a counter that surpassed that of Sangju, and was generally inherited from the Joseon Dynasty and later on. Dosanji continued to supplement or summarize data and reflect the situation of the times until the Cheongnyangji and Yongsan sites, including Samsanji, were merged into Revised Cheongnyangji淸凉誌, also known as Ogasnji吾家山誌, which completed the will to expand the foundation of Jinseong Yi Clan. Dosanji is presumed to have been further supplemented by Yi Hwang's sixth-generation descendant Yi Su-yeon, but it does not exist. Yi Hwang's Dosangi or Yi Su-yeon's Dosanji mentioned seven pavilion and three vasen 七臺三曲 near Dosan. According to Yi Yi-sun's suggestion, 1) Dosan was named as seven characters poem, and 2) direction and distance were marked from the name of the front line, and 3) Lastly, the relevant parts were abbreviated and added as jeonsae. Among these three, Dosan Gugok was specified in the part that Yi Yi-sun and Yi ya-sun tried to supplement. It is unlikely that there were other items set up in Dosan nine corners or Cheongnyangji and Yongsanji in Dosanji, but it is highly likely that Lee Yi-sun's supplement Dosanji was referring to the confirmation of Dosan nine corners
