This study tries to explore how the Taiwan Business Association successfully helps the localization of the Taiwanese-owned Enterprises in China. Firstly, the Taiwan Business Association structurally connects itself with the local government, which is not only the mechanism that the local government socio-politically controls the Taiwanese-owned Enterprises, but also positively functions in order that the Taiwan Business Association effectively play an important part as interest group. Secondly, the Taiwan Business Association serves as the center provides informations and services for the Taiwanese-owned Enterprises, and plays an intermediary role in rent-seeking activities for the sake of them. Thirdly, the Taiwan Business Association immediately plays an assistant role for the Taiwanese-owned Enterprises, if they are confronted with the criminal cases such as labor-management dispute, tax evasion and environmental pollution etc. On the other hand, the Taiwan Business Association takes the lead in social public works in the community the Taiwanese-owned enterprises belong to as one of its localization strategies.
