주요국의 대중 내수용 수출경쟁력에 대한 연구 - 제품 다양도와 집약도 분석을 중심으로

Abstract

China's economy has shifted to domestic-led growth since the global financial crisis, and foreign trade has rapidly shifted from processing trade to domestic demand trade since the global financial crises. This study analyzes the changes in the competitiveness of major exporters to China such as Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, and Germany in China’s domestic demand import market. Using China’s HS-8 digit domestic demand import data from China Customs during 2006-2014, and applying the market share, diversity and intensity methods, this study analyzes the export competitiveness of the five countries by processing step. Although Korea has the strongest competitiveness in China's total import market, it is the fourth in China's domestic demand import market, and its competitiveness has weakened since 2006. In order to strengthen Korea’s export competitiveness to China, it is necessary to expand exports aiming at China’s domestic demand import market while strengthening export competitiveness in semi-finished products and consumer goods.
