마르크스의 착취관계와 소비 및 동양의 인간관계

초록

이 글은 마르크스의 착취개념이 교환 중심의 신고전학파나 분배 중심의 신리카도학파가 설명하지 못하는 현상을 설명할 수 있다는 입장에 근거해 이를 재해석하려고 시도했다. 이를 위해 착취의 결과나 착취과정보다 착취관계를 논의의 중심으로삼아, 착취관계를 구성하는 요소들을 밝혀낸 후, 이를 몇 가지 방향에서 발전시키려고 노력했다. 우선 착취관계를 자신, 자연, 사회, 가정에 대한 착취로 연장시켰다. 이어 착취관계와 교환관계의 유사성과 차이점을 재해석했다. 더불어 감정노동이 개입되는 서비스부문에서 착취관계가 어떻게 등장하는지 논의했다. 또한 개인의 합리성에 대한 행동경제학의 비판과 베블런의 과시적 소비를 연결시키려고 노력했다. 끝으로 착취관계와 동양의 인간관계가 어떻게 결합할 수 있는지 검토했다.

Abstract

This paper intends to reinterpret Marx’s concept of exploitation on the basis of the view that it is capable of explicating many economic phenomena which neither the neoclassical nor the neoricardian perspective addresses. For this purpose, it focuses on exploitation relations or social relations which are to be distinguished from rate of exploitation. By means of unraveling the elements of the relations, it explores self-exploitation, exploitation of nature, exploitation in the household More to the point, this paper endeavors: to forge more links between exchange relations and exploitation relations; to reconstitute emotional exploitation in the service sector and within postmodern circumstances; to develop the critique of neoclassical postulate of rationality on the part of behavioral economics into a theory of exploitation; to accommodate symbolic exploitation; to combine Marx’s exploitation relations with human relationships prevalent in the East.
