이 글의 목적은 MEGA² Ⅰ-5의 문헌학적 연구 성과를 바탕으로 “철학의 실현과 지양” 테제를 통해 마르크스 역사철학을 재해석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우선 이 테제가 MEGA² Ⅰ-1의 「데모크리토스와 에피쿠로스 자연철학의 차이」에서 최초 정립됐고, MEGA² Ⅳ-3의 「포이어바흐에 관해서」에서 최종 완성돼, MEGA² Ⅰ-5에서 마르크스 역사철학의 이론적 기초로 작동했다는 점을 문헌학적으로 규명한다. 이 과정에서 마르크스의 철학의 실현과 지양 테제를 “반철학과 비철학의 철학적 방법”으로 재해석한다. 철학의 실현은 철학적 사유를 통해 세계를 해석하는 것에 반대한다는 의미에서 반철학으로, 철학의 지양은 철학적 개념을 토대 혹은 원리로 정초하지 않고 세계를 역사적으로 해석하고 변화하려고 한다는 점에서 비철학으로 해석한다. 이를 기반으로 마르크스 역사철학은 역사를 추상적인 철학적 사유로 해석하거나, 추상화된 범주로 역사를 파악하는 것이 아니라, 철학적 사유를 통해 해석된 현실 혹은 사유된 현실의 이데올로기화에 대한 비판의 기준을 제시하는 것에서 시작한다는 점을 논증한다. 이것은 마르크스가 역사서술에 대한 기존 논의, 즉 사실로서의 역사서술, 이념의 자기전개로서 역사이해, 자연법을 기초로 한 역사이해에 대한 비판을 통해 “개인, 행위, 물질적 조건”이라는 자신의 역사철학의 전제를 정초하는 것을 의미한다. 요컨대 반철학과 비철학의 철학적 방법론은 역사서술에 대한 당대의 철학적 및 역사적 방법론에 대한 비판적 기준을 제시하기 위한 마르크스 역사철학의 이론적 기초이자, MEGA² Ⅰ-1에서 MEGA² Ⅰ-5까지를 관통하고 있는 마르크스 이론적 방법론의 핵심이다.
Abstract
When studying Karl Marx’s philosophy of history, researchers tend to neglect the origin of its premises leading Marx to his understanding of history. The present paper aims to reinterpret Marx`s philosophy of history through the constructs of realization and sublation of philosophy, which he defines in his doctoral thesis published in MEGA² Ⅰ-1. He discusses these practical principles later in “ad. Feuerbach” of MEGA² Ⅳ-3, and finally applies them as theoretical principle in historical philosophy in MEGA² I-5. These are the actual foundations of his perception of world history. According to Marx, a philosopher interprets the world through predefined philosophical thinking. Marx criticizes this methodology because the interpreted world does not identify actual circumstances. I call this intellectual approach ’anti-philosophy’. Marx demands the sublation of philosophy, which abandons all philosophical principles, and instead considers the world as a historical development in process without concluding principles and forming categories. I term this approach ’non-philosophy’. Based on these two viewpoints - anti-philosophy and non-philosophy - this paper casts a fresh look upon the derivation of Marx’s pillars of materialistic approach to history: 1. individual, 2. action, and 3. material conditions, offering a new path to reinterpreting his theoretical methodology.
