본 논문에서는 디지털 콘텐츠의 저작권 보호와 불법복제 방지 등을 위하여 MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group) IPMP(Intellectual Property Management and Protection) 기술을 이용한 콘텐츠 관리 및 보호 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안한 시스템은 디지털 방송용 수신단말에서 MPEG-2 데이터를 처리하는 기능, MPEG-4 데이터를 처리하는 기능, MPEG-2 IPMP 데이터를 해석하는 기능, MPEG-4 IPMPX(IPMP extension) 데이터를 해석하는 기능, 수신단 복호화기의 전/후 각 지점에 IPMP 툴을 적용하는 기능, 콘텐츠에 IPMP 툴을 적용하는 기능 등을 지원할 수 있도록 설계하였다. MPEG-2/4 IPMP 기술을 이용한 콘텐츠 관리 및 보호 시스템은 디지털 방송환경에서 MPEG-2 및 MPEG-4 콘텐츠에 대한 관리 및 보호 기능을 제공하며, 이는 향후 대두될 콘텐츠 관리 및 저작권 보호에 대한 참고 모델로서 사용될 수 있다.
Abstract
In this paper is proposed the content protection and management system applying MPEG IPMP specification. It includes the functionality of processing MPEG-2/4 data, parsing MPEG-2/4 IPMP data and applying IPMP tools to the required control points in digital broadcasting terminal. The proposed system provides appropriate content protection and management mechanism in digital broadcasting environment and will possible be applied as a reference model for IPMP system.
