휴대폰이 인간중심의 소통용 정보전달 서비스에서 스마트폰으로 발전하면서 산업 현장 및 일상 생활에서의 활용으로 영역이 확대되고 있다. 스마트폰의 중요 특징인 다양한 어플리케이션 제공이 가능한 개방성과 더불어 Wi-Fi,NFC, ZigBee 등 다양한 근거리 무선 통신 기술 탑재로 각 산업별 시설 관리, 자동화, 고객 마케팅 증대 등 IT와 타 산업간 융합형 어플리케이션들이 제공할 수 있다. 근거리 무선 통신 규격 표준화 단체들은 각 기술들이 태생시 갖고 있는 고유의 용도를 심화 발전시키고 산업별 활용 영역 확대를 위하여 경쟁적으로 규격 개발을 진행하고 있으며 스마트폰내의 운영체제 및 어플리케이션 제공을 위한 프레임워크 구조도 이러한 다양성을 수용하기 위하여 컨버전스 프레임워크로의 발전이 되고 있다. 스마트폰은 이러한 근거리 무선통신기술을 통하여 주변 사물이나 환경을 인식하고 인터랙션하여 산업별 활용을 위한 새로운 서비스를 창출하는 IT기반 컨버전스 허브 역할로 발전될 전망이다.
Abstract
Cellular phone has been focusing on providing information delivery services for human-centric communication, but as a smart phone to use in industrial site and everyday life is growing area. With the openness feature of smart phone offering a variety of application, smart phone equipped with various wireless personal area network technologies such as Wi-Fi, NFC and ZigBee provides convergence application between IT and other industries including facilities management, automation or customer marketing. Wireless telecommunication technology standardization bodies are working to develop a specification for its own unique purpose and also expanding the industry to leverage the competitive area. Operating systems and application framework inside smart phone will be developed to be a convergence framework to accommodate these diversities. Through the wireless personal area network capable of recognition and interaction with surrounding objects or environments to leverage the industry to create new services, smart phone is expected to be developed as IT based convergence hub
