최근 스마트 TV는 다양한 표준 및 플랫폼을 바탕으로 빠른 속도로 발전해가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 TV 플랫폼 기술 및 동향을 분석하고 장단점을 비교한다. 또한 MIPS 기반 멀티미디어 프로세서와 개방형 플랫폼인 안드로이드를 탑재한 스마트 셋탑 박스 플랫폼을 구현하기 위해 필요한 기능 및 기술을 제시하고 모바일 기반의 플랫폼을 스마트 TV 제작에 활용하기 위해 요구되는 기능 및 고려사항에 대해 알아보고자 한다.
Abstract
Recently, Smart TV developments are promoted with diverse standardizations and platform technologies. In this paper, recent smart TV platform standards and technologies are analyzed. Also, some technical issues are discussed for smart set-top box platform developments with Android and the MIPS based multimedia processor. Based on this analysis, required technologies and functions for smart TV developments are presented.
