Abstract
Recently, the issue on Ad Hoc Network which enables the transmission of data between the nodes over the multiple wireless hop, is in active research. Particularly, since the wireline protocol which does not consider the mobility of terminals cannot be used in Ad Hoc Network, new protocols to support Ad Hoc Network is in active research. In this paper, we review general Ad Hoc Network architecture and the recent trend of protocol development in classified manner of link layer, network layer, and transport layer.
