Abstract
“Data services over the mobile communication systems have often revealed limitations in some application aspects.Especially, the voice oriented mobile systems have many problems in providing the packet based data services. However, the convenience of usage, broad coverage and continuity of service, and most of all the great number ofsubscriber are the major driving force for developing the technology for high speed packet data services over themobile communication systems. In this paper, the enabling technologies for high speed packet data services over the mobile communication systems and their implementation forms in cdma2000 radio access technology will be reviewed.”
