Abstract
The Korean government chose the home network technology as one of 10 next-generation growth engine industries in 2003. This technology will have a great ripple effect in whole industry like the mobile communications technology. In addition to IT, many researchers in various technology and industry field(for example, architecture design, BT, NT, ET, and etc.) are also interested in home networking areas. This paper investigates technology trends about home networking and the related core technologies.
