지상파 기반 측위를 위한 무선신호 지도정합법

초록

본 논문에서는 비시선각 오차에 크게 영향을 받는 지상파 기반 무선 측위의 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 무선신호 지도 정합법을 제안하고 그 원리를 소개한다. 제안된 무선신호 지도정합법은 특별한 사양의 이동국 단말기를 필요로 하지 않으며 무선 지형정보 서버를 기존의 이동 통신망에 설치함으로써 구현이 가능하다. 설치된 무선 지형정보 서버는 무선 통신망에 접속된 다량의 이동국으로부터 측위를 위한 측정치를 일정 기간 수집하여 측정치 데이터베이스를 생성하므로, 특수 장비 및 인력이 외부에 직접 측정을 나가야 할 번거로움을 피할 수 있다. 수집된 측정치 데이터베이스에 의한 이동국의 분포는 이상적인 지도정보와 비교되어 비시선각 오차 보정지도 생성에 사용된다. 생성된 비시선각 오차 보정 지도는 이후 이동국이 측위 측정치 보고와 함께 위치 서비스를 요구할 경우 실시간에 향상된 위치 추정치를 제공 가능하도록 하여 준다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 무선신호 지도정합법을 시연하고 그 성능을 평가하였다.

Abstract

This paper proposes a new wireless-signal map-matching method for calibrating non-line-of-sight error in terrestrial wireless location systems under ervan environments. The proposde method does not require specific types of handsets and is easily implemented by installing a telegeoinfomatics servereither inside or outside of the core network structure. The installed telegeoinfomatics server,eliminating the necessity of sending probe cars and surveying instruments with operators outside,gathers bulks of measurements within a specific area by compared with the ideal map geometry to produce non-line -of-sight error correction maps. Once the corrections maps are constructed, user requdsts for location-based services can be responded in real -time.A simulation result, assuming a typical dense urban environment,demonstrates the venefits of the proposde wireless-signal map-matching technique.
