대학교육과정의 구조적 특성에 관한 연구-교육학과 교육과정을 중심으로-

본 연구에서는 첫째, 대학교육과정이 각 과정의 목적과 위상에 비추어 제대로 편성되어 있는지를 확인하기 위하여 과정별 교육과정의 구성 방식을 분석하고자 하였다. 둘째, 대학의 전공교육과정이 교육과정의 조직원리를 충실히 고려하여 편성되어 있는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여, 교육학과 교육과정을 대상으로 하여 대학교육과정 편성의 구조와 과정별 구성 방식을 분석하고, 전공교육과정을 과목별 성격과 계열에 따라 유형화하였다. 분석 결과, 대학교육과정의 과정별 구성 방식은 자유선택제, 학문영역별 배분이수제, 중핵 교육과정제를 채택하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 교육학과 전공교육과정은 ‘전공분야의 기초학문’과 ‘전공분야의 특수영역’을 주요 내용으로 하는 과목에 집중적으로 편성되어 있는 것으로 드러났으며, 기초/개론과목, 이론과목, 그리고 적용과목의 계열을 이루고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to confirm 1) that undergraduate curricula are well organized in accordance with the goal and status of each curriculum and 2) that undergraduate major curricula are trustworthy on the structural principle of the curricula. For this purpose, this paper has been examined the structure of the undergraduate curriculum, which is based on the Education major curriculum analysis from the aspects of the scope and the sequence on the curriculum.As a result of this analysis, some general characteristics have been found in construction of the undergraduate curriculum. First, the scope of Education major curriculum is too much stressed on 'the discipline of major content' and on 'the specific area'. Second, the Education major curriculum has shown the specific sequence; introduction/foundation courses and theory courses, application courses orderly.
