이혼가정 아동을 위한 인지행동 집단 프로그램이 우울감, 자존감, 부모이혼지각에 미치는 효과

초록

본 연구는 이혼가정 아동을 위한 인지행동 집단 프로그램이 이혼가정 아동의 이혼 지각과 우울감, 자아존중감에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 초등학교 4∼6학년 재학 중인 이혼 가정 자녀이고, 프로그램 참여에 동의한 14명을 실험집단과 통제집단에 각 7명씩 배정하였다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 프로그램 시작 전, 사후, 1달 후 세 번에 걸쳐 참가 아동에게는 우울척도, 자아존중감 척도, 이혼 지각 척도를 실시하였고, 교사에게는 교사용-아동 평정 척도를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 프로그램은 한 회기당 70분씩 진행하였고, 주 1~2회, 총 10회기를 실시하였다. 집단내 검증 결과, 인지행동 집단 프로그램에 참가한 아동은 우울감, 자존감, 부모이혼 지각에서 모두 유의미한 변화를 나타냈다. 그러나, 집단간 비교 검증에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 끝으로 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구 과제에 대해 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of cognitive-behavioral group program for children of divorce on depression, self-esteem, and perception of divorce. Participants consisted of 14 children of divorce in the 4-6th grade of elementary school and they were assigned into an experimental group of 7 and control group of 7. To examine the effects of this program, participants in both experimental and control groups were tested on depression, self-esteem, perception of divorce, and Teacher-Child Rating Scale(T-CRS) before and after the program. In addition, posttest was conducted at the one month after th termination of the program. Ten 70 minutes sessions of cognitive-behavioral group program were conducted over a 5-week period. Results showed that the cognitive-behavioral group program leads to reduction of depression, improvement of self-esteem, and perception of divorce in the experimental group. But significant differences between groups were not examined. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
