교육시설의 공간 프로그램 특성에 관한 사례연구 - 충청남도 교육청 진로융합 교육원을 대상으로 -

Abstract

(Background and Purpose) Currently, our society is entering the era of the 4th industrial revolution and demands convergent creativity with the characteristics of hyper-connection, super-intelligence, and super-convergence. In this situation, education to cultivate the ability to respond to the future is emerging as a response strategy, and career education is focused on expanding and realizing with interest in convergence education through learning and experience to develop various capabilities. Therefore, this study presents the characteristics of the spatial program so that space can provide a faithful experience to the educational field to enhance the importance of career convergence activities such as career education and creative experience activities. (Method) The scope of the study was limited to the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education's Career Convergence Education Center, the first case of the newly emerging Career Convergence Education Center at the national level. First, the concepts of career education, creative experience activities, and future education are reviewed through literature research. Second, characteristics for building spatial programs are derived through prior research on the spatial characteristics and components of educational facilities. Third, the spatial programs of the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education's Career Convergence Education Center, which is the subject of a case study, were analyzed to find out the flow of space operation. Fourth, the characteristics derived from prior research and the flow chart of space operation are linked to analyze the contents applied to the subject of the program of the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education's Career Convergence Education Center. (Results) Through literature research and prior research, diversity, connectivity, and autonomy were derived as characteristics of creative educational spaces. Also, contents such as visual communication through overlapping spaces, activation of mediating spaces, and acceptance of various programs with unclear boundaries were derived as composition methods. The elements related to the derived content were rearranged to suit the subject of this study. Finally, it was confirmed that the contents were faithfully used by applying them to the program of the case target site. (Conclusions) In line with the changing demands of the times, career education is at a point where it is expanding into convergence education to cultivate future competencies further in the process of finding dreams. Accordingly, this study is meaningful in establishing the importance of establishing the role of space for the expansion and realization of career convergence education by analyzing the characteristics of spatial programs of the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education, which aims for convergence education with the nation's first career and education. It is hoped that it will be used as basic data for the new space to be created with the development of convergence education in the future, and in-depth research will be conducted on this.
