Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the beliefs of science education and the perception of science nature by special education teachers. To achieve these purpose, 133 special education teachers were selected and 'the belief in science education and the nature of science' was conducted. The results of this study are as follows. First, Special education teachers' beliefs about science education are that teachers in special education Classroom are stronger than teachers in special education school , and elementary school teachers are stronger than Secondary teachers. Second, Special education teachers' perception for Nature of Science are that teachers in Special education Classroom and elementary school are higher than special education school and Secondary school. This is because teachers in Special education Classroom and elementary school have easy access to general education curriculum. Third, The ratio of Traditional recognition and Mixed recognition is that special education school is more than Special education Classroom, and Secondary school is more than elementary school. Therefore, Special education teachers for beliefs about science education and perception for Nature of Science are different according to the characteristics of the school where teachers work.
