장애대학생의 자기조절이 진로탐색에 미치는 영향: 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과

본 연구는 장애대학생이 진로탐색 활동을 효과적으로 수행하는 데 자기조절이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 충청남도와 전라북도에 위치한 2개 대학교에 재학 중인 장애대학생 109명을 대상으로 진로탐색, 진로결정 자기효능감, 자기조절 척도를 실시하였다. 또한 자기조절과 진로탐색 간의 관계와 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 구조방정식 모델 중 확인적 요인분석을 실시하여 요인의 집중타당성과 판별타당성 검증을 통해 타당도가 높은 문항들로 관측지표를 만들어 연구모델의 적합도를 살펴보았으며, 매개효과를 알아보기 위해서는 AMOS 21.0 프로그램의 부트스트레핑 절차를 적용하였다. 연구결과, 장애대학생의 자기조절은 진로탐색과 정적인 관계가 있었으며(β = .37, p < .001), 장애대학생의 자기조절과 진로결정 자기효능감 간에도 통계적으로 의미있는 정적인 관계(β = .71, p < .001)가 제시되었다. 또한 장애대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로탐색 간에는 정적인 관계가 나타났다(β = .54, p < .001). 또한 장애대학생의 자기조절과 진로탐색 간의 관계에 있어 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과가 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다(p = .007). 연구결과를 종합해보면, 자기조절은 진로탐색과 직접적인 관계가 있으며 동시에 장애대학생의 자기조절과 진로탐색 간의 관계는 진로결정 자기효능감에 의해 매개되는 것으로 나타남으로써 진로결정 자기효능감의 부분 매개효과가 제시되었다. 본 연구를 통해 장애대학생이 효과적인 진로탐색을 통해 진로를 결정하기 위해서는 자기조절을 높일 수 있는 교육과 지원이 대학 내에서 이루어져야 하며, 진로결정에 대한 자기효능감을 높일 수 있는 지도가 지속적이고 체계적으로 병행되어야 한다는 점을 시사하였다.
Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the direct effect of self-regulation on career exploration of university students with disabilities and the mediating effects of career decision self-efficacy in the pathway. The subjects were 190 students with disabilities in two universities located at Chungcheongnam-do and Jeollabuk-do, and completed questionnaires on career exploration, career decision self-efficacy, and self-regulation. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and Structural Equation Model(SEM). The main results of this study were as follows. First, self-regulation directly and positively related with career exploration of university students with disabilities. Further, career decision self-efficacy of students with disabilities mediated the relationship between self-regulation and career exploration. Therefore, career decision self-efficacy of students with disabilities partially exerted mediating effect on the relationship of self-regulation to career exploration. The findings imply that there is a need to develop education or counseling programs for improving the level of self-regulation and career decision self-efficacy in order to decide career effectively in universities
