Abstract
Smart contracts are intended to extend the scope of the general contract by improving the mechanism of the Bitcoin block. Smart contracts offer the potential to dramatically reduce the social costs of traditional contracts. In other words, smart contract systems provide the potential to fundamentally address the costs and problems arising from traditional contract signing, performance and verification systems by allowing parties to validate them in real time within the system. This study will explore comprehensively the possibility that such smart contracts can be used in real estate transactions as the representative system of goods verification and transactions. Innovation in smart contract-based real estate transactions and registration systems can provide a new direction for real estate finance beyond a series of moves associated with existing real estate electronic contracts. Disclosure and transaction systems such as real estate registration, which require verification of real estate transactions and increased reliability that affect the daily lives of all people, are specific representations of the property rights system underlying capitalism, and their social functions are very large. Therefore, further research on real estate transactions as smart assets through smart contracts is also necessary.
