Abstract
Lee, Hee-Ja. 2001. A Study of Teaching Method of Korean Endings and Particles using Guide Words . Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language, 25․26, 247~269. This is a study of the ways to find and distinguish easily grammatical forms like endings and particles, and I proposed how to refer them and how to use it in teaching Korean. It is called Guide Word (gil-ja-bi-mal, 길잡이말) that shows homographs, that is more than two words with the same spellings but different meanings. I tried to find out how to put Guide Words on endings, particles, and idioms that consists of an ending or a particle, and showed the whole list of them. Therefore, Guide Words is used as a superior (homograph numbers) for more than two words with the same spellings but different meanings, used to find those homographs easily like a guiding star, and served as name tags for the grammatical forms that don't have lexical meanings. I proposed how to apply these typical examples of the endings and particles in teaching or learning Korean.
