Abstract

Korean language education in the United States has made remarkable progress thus far, conditioned by the ever-growing Korean immigrant population,ever-developing Korean economy, and ever-refining American foreign language policies, as well as Korean residents' promotion for ethnic language and culture and the Korean government's linguistic globalization efforts. This momentum will continue in the foreseeable future, as the conditioning factors are expected to be sustained. Korean language education is believed to be further enhanced to a significant extent if the proposals made herein to strengthen the educational infrastructure and the students' motivation are implemented promptly, continually, and devotedly.
