한국어 주어 생략 오류 연구 - 한국 거주 조선족 초등학생의 작문 말뭉치를 중심으로 -

Abstract

This study investigated how subject omission errors in Korean appear in the written corpus of Korean-Chinese elementary school students residing in Korea. Specifically, the several variables explored included whether the parents were Korean-Chinese, the languages the subjects could speak, the language they used most in their family, and the duration of their stay in Korea. As a result, firstly, findings showed that the variable with the most significant differences was the duration of their stay in Korea. Secondly, when the duration of their stay in Korea was less than 5 years, subject overload errors were more frequent and subject omission errors were relatively rare. But when it was more than 10 years, subject overload errors were almost never found and subject omission errors were similar to those in cases of less than 5 years. Thirdly, when examining subject omission errors by the duration of stay in Korea into irrecoverable subject omission errors and subject omission errors at stage transitions, significant differences were found in subject omission errors at stage transition. It is expected that the results of this study will serve as basic data suggesting the necessity and direction of teaching the phenomenon of subject omission in Korean education for Korean-Chinese elementary school students residing in Korea.
