본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 유머감각과 창의적 인성이 서로 어떻게 관련되어있는지를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 경기도에 소재한 4개의 인문계 고등학생 160명이었으며, 최종 자료분석 대상자 수는 152명이다. 측정도구는 하주현(2001)이 개발한 창의적 인성 척도와 Thorson과 Powell(1993)이 개발하고 이재선(2005)이 번안한 유머감각 척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료를 코딩하여 창의적인 인성의 총합 점수와 하위요인별, 그리고 유머감각의 총합 점수 하위요인별로 각각 성차가 존재하는지를 알아보았다. 또한, 유머감각과 창의적 인성과의 상관관계 및 유머감각이 창의적 인성에 미치는 영향력을 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면, 창의적 인성점수는 여학생(M=16.52, SD=2.98)보다 남학생(M=16.80, SD=2.76)이 높은 경향이 있었으며(t=2.648, p<.001), 유머감각도 여학생(M=6.64, SD=.92)보다 남학생(M=6.92, SD=1.03)의 점수가 높은 것으로 나타났다(t=2.169, p<.05). 창의적 인성 총합 점수와 유머감각 간의 상관계수는 r=.405(p<.001)로서 유의미한 상관관계가 있었으며, 남학생 집단(r=.282, p<.05)보다 여학생 집단(r=.507, p<.001)에서 더 높은 상관관계를 보였다. 마지막으로, 유머감각이 창의적 인성을 설명하는 정도를 알아본 결과 남학생 집단에서는 17.7%, 여학생 집단에서는 25.2%의 설명력이 있었다. 본 연구는 고등학생을 대상으로 하여 유머감각과 창의적 인성과의 상관관계를 밝히고, 학교교육 장면에서의 활용방안을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship and gender difference in creative personality and creative personality in high school students. For this purpose the subjects of this study were 152 students(boy ; 79, girl ; 73). The creative personality was measured by the test of creative personality by Hah(2001). The sense of humor was measured by the test MSHS by Kim(2006). The collected data were analyzed by using the 18.0 SPSS program. The data were also tested by using the t-test, correlation and multiple stepwised regression. The results of the study were as follows; First, The tests of mean difference between boy and girl students revealed that there was significant gender difference in the factors of the sense of humor and creative personality. Secondly, there is also a significant gender difference in the interaction between sense of humor subfactor and creative personality. In addition, the multiple regression analyses demonstrated that the sense of humor factors were the significant predictors of the creative personality. Finally, limitation of this study and the direction for future research were discussed.
