본 연구는 한국과 중국의 초등학교 교사들의 창의성 교육에 대한 인식과 창의적 교수행동의 차이를 비교하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상은 중국 북경, 난징, 당산시의 초등학교 교사들 262명이었으며, 이들 자료는 최지은(2010년)의 연구에서 수집된 279명의 한국 초등학교 교사들의 데이터와 비교 분석되었다. 연구 결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 창의성 교육에 대한 인식 정도에서 한국과 중국 교사들 간에 유의한 차이가 없었지만, 국가와 교직경력 간에는 유의미한 상호작용 효과가 나타났다. 둘째, 한국과 중국의 초등학교 교사들은창의적 교수행동 중 인지적 영역의 지원 정도에서 차이가 없었지만, 국가와 교직경력 간에는 유의미한 상호작용 효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 초등학교 교사들의 창의적 교수행동 중 성격적 영역에 대한 지원은 한국교사들이 중국 교사들에 비해 유의하게 더 높았고, 특히 ‘과제집중 및 완성’에 대한 지원의 정도가 한국교사들이 중국교사들에 비해 유의하게 더 높았다. 국가와 교직경력 간에 역시 유의미한 상호작용 효과가 나타났다. 넷째, 한국 교사들은 교직경력이 높을수록 창의성에 대한 인식정도, 창의적 교수행동 수준이 높은 반면, 중국 교사들의 경우는 10년 미만의 교사들이 모든 면에서 높은 수준을 보였다. 마지막으로이 결과에 대한 논의 및 시사점이 제시되었다,
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare the Creative Teaching Behavior(CTB) of Korean primary teachers and of Chinese. Subjects were 262 Chinese teachers and 279 Korean ones. The main result from MANOVA showed that Korean and Chinese teachers had a significant difference in personality area in CTB scores. Korean teachers supported the creative personality including the subfactors such as ‘focusing and task commitment’, ‘internal motivation’, and ‘openness’ to their students more highly than Chinese. Especially the individual effect of ‘focusing and task commitment’ was significant. The interaction effect of nation and teaching career was also significant in the level of recognition for creativity education and support of cognitive and personality area in CTB. The significance and limitations of this study and the suggestions for the future studies were discussed.
