초등 영재와 평재의 학습몰입 영향 변인 탐색 - 지적능력신념, 귀인성향, 부모지지및 교사지지를 중심으로 -

초록

본 연구는 초등 영재와 평재의 개인적 특성인 지적능력신념과 귀인성향, 환경적 특성인 부모지지와 교사지지가 학습몰입과 어떤 관계가 있으며, 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구목적을 해결하기 위해 초등영재 245명과 평재 325명을 대상으로 관련 검사를 실시하였으며 수집된 자료를 토대로 초등 영재와 평재의 지적능력신념, 귀인성향, 부모지지와 교사지지 및 학습몰입 하위요인들 간의 상호 관련성을 살펴보기 위하여 Pearson의 r을 산출하였으며, 초등 영재와 평재의 변인 간의 차이를 살펴보기 위하여 차이검증을 실시하였다. 또한 초등 영재와 평재의 학습몰입에 영향을 미치는 변인을 찾기 위하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 초등 영재와 평재의 항상성 신념은 실패와 성공에 대한 외적 귀인성향과 정적 상관을 보인 반면, 부모지지, 교사지지 및 학습몰입 하위 요인 모두와 부적상관을 보였다. 향상가능성 신념은 성공에 대한 내적귀인 성향과 부모지지, 교사지지 및 학습몰입하위 요인 모두와 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 초등 영재는 항상성신념, 성공에 대한 내적귀인,부모지지, 교사지지 및 학습몰입이 평재보다 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 학습몰입 하위요인별로 살펴보면 초등 영재는 과제집중, 자의식 상실, 자기 목적적 경험 요인의 순으로평재보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등 영재의 학습몰입 영향 변인을 탐색한 결과, 부모지지와 교사지지 요인은 학습몰입에 정적으로 영향을 미치고 항상성 신념은 부적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 초등 평재의 경우 학습몰입에 향상가능성 신념, 부모지지, 교사지지, 성공에 대한 내적귀인 성향이 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to investigate the differences between gifted students andgeneral students in the elementary school by comparing their beliefs about intelligence,attribution styles, parental support, teacher's support and learning flow and by analyzing therelationships and factors influencing on learning flow. The final sample consisted of 245 giftedstudents and 325 general students in the 5th and 6th grades. Measures of students' beliefs aboutintelligence (entity theory and incremental theory), attributional styles(internal attribution,external attribution), parental support, teacher's support, and learning flow were accomplished. Data were analyzed by correlation analysis of pearson r, t-test, and stepwise logistic regressionanalysis. Results are as followed. First, the entity theory of the gifted and non-gifted students inelementary schools was positively associated with external attribution on the success or failureand negatively associated with parents' and teacher's supports and 6 sub-factors of learningflow. Second, the gifted elementary students showed statistically higher scores on the entitytheory, the internal attribution on the success, parents' support, teacher's support, and all overthe learning flow. Third, for the gifted elementary students, the learning flow is affectedpositively by parents' support and teacher's support and affected negatively by the entity theory. Third, the learning flow of the elementary non-gifted students is affected positively byincremental theory, parents' support, teacher's support, and internal attribution style on success.
