유치원 초임교사 핵심역량 구인타당화 연구

본 연구의 목적은 유치원 초임교사 핵심역량의 구인타당도를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 전국 공․사립 유치원 교원 515명을 대상으로 핵심역량의 중요도에 대한 설문조사를 실시하고, 영역별 요인분석을 실시하였다. 영역별 요인분석을 실시한 결과는 첫째, 영역1 ‘교직인성 및 전문성 개발’은 4개 범주(교직열정 및 창의성, 반성적 자기개발, 교직윤리 함양, 근무자세) 23내용으로 나타났다. 영역2 ‘학습자 이해’는 2개 범주(유아발달 이해, 특수아 이해) 7개 내용으로 나타났다. 영역3 ‘교육과정 운영’은 4개 범주(교육과정 이론 이해, 국가수준 교육과정 이해, 교육계획안 구성 및 적용, 교수학습 이해 및 실행) 24개 내용으로 나타났다. 영역4 ‘평가의 이해 및 실행’은 2개 범주(평가의 이해 및 실행, 평가의 활용) 16개 내용으로 나타났다. 영역5 ‘대인관계 및 의사소통 실천’은 3개 범주(공동체 의식 및 의사소통 기술 형성, 부모 및 동료와의 협력, 지역사회 및 국가와의 협력) 20개 내용으로 나타났다. 영역6 ‘정보화 소양’은 2개 범주(정보화기술 이해, 정보화 기술 활용) 12개 내용으로 나타났다. 영역7 ‘유치원 운영’은 3개 범주(교실운영 및 유아와의 관계형성, 유아행동 지도, 문서작성 및 관리) 15개 내용으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이상의 구인타당도 검증에 근거할 때, 7영역 16범주 118개의 유치원 초임교사 핵심역량은 일부 범주의 통합 및 분리가 필요한 것으로 나타났고, 역량38을 제외하면 모든 핵심역량 내용은 타당한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 7영역 16범주 118내용의 유치원 초임교사 핵심역량의 범주를 조정하고, 역량38을 삭제하여 7영역 20범주 117내용으로 재구성하는 것이 필요하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the construct validity in core competencies for Korean novice kindergarten teachers. 515 kindergarten teachers answered the survey regarding the importance of core competencies. The construct validity of corecompetencies for novice kindergarten teachers was verified through the factor analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the domain of ‘developing character forteaching profession and professionalism’ is comprised of 4 categories with 23 corecompetencies. The domain of ‘understanding children’ is comprised of 2 categories with 7 core competencies. The domain of ‘implementing curriculum’ is composed of 4 categories with 24 core competencies. The domain of ‘understanding and practicing assessment’ is made up 2 categories and 16 core competencies. The domain of ‘interrelationship and communication’ is made up 3 categories with 20 corecompetencies. The domain of ‘information capability’ is made up 2 categories with 12core competencies. The domain of ‘classroom management’ is made up 3 categoriesand 15 core competencies. Second, the 118 core competencies for novice kindergarten teachers were valid except competency no. 38, but some categories were required tocombine or to divide based on construct validity verification. Therefore, the corecompetencies for novice kindergarten teachers needed to be modified from 7 domains, 16 categories, and 118 core competencies to 7 domains, 20 categories, and 117 corecompetencies.
