유아교육기관에서 발생하는 유아교사의 안전사고 실태

본 연구의 목적은 유아교육기관에서 발생하는 유아교사의 안전사고 실태와 유아교사의 배경변인에 따라 안전사고 발생의 차이가 있는지를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 서울 및 경기 지역에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집의 교사 275명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 17.0을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, 카이검증(χ²)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 50.9%의 유아교사들이 지난 1년간 유아교육기관에서 안전사고를 경험하였다. 둘째, 유아교사의 안전사고 발생은 유아교육기관의 유형, 교사의 연령과 경력에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine teachers' experiences of accidents in early childhood educational institutes and to analyze the differences in relation to their background factors. The subjects were 275 teachers who were working in early childhood educational institute such as kindergartens and child care centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentile, and Chi-square analysis using SPSS 17.0 program. The results were as follows. First, 50.9% of early childhood teachers got injured in early childhood educational institutes. Second, early childhood teachers' experiences of accidents were significantly different based on the type of institutes as well as age and career of the teachers.
